Casi Verde- Grape Jelly

Product Description
NEW! NEARLY GREEN COLLECTION!
GRAPE JELLY (8 in x 8 in / 20 x 20 cm)18 ct Aida
Dyed with Sandlewood and soda ash – giving the fabbie a very light to med light purple color. Sometimes into the darker purples.
“Nearly Green” means this fabbie has been dyed with either natural or organic materials straight from nature! So these colors are neither colorfast or lightfast(means they can fade in direct light). All steps have been taken to ensure the color for years to come - it's up to you how you handle the fabbie.
So each piece of fabbie will be unique in their own way of taking to the dye. Since each type of fabbie takes to the dyes differently – so does the thread counts also takes to the dyes differently – as each side of the fabric will also take differently to the dyes – darker on one side and light on the other. Just how the natural materials lay on the fabbies during the dying process.
I want everyone to experience the look of these fabbies being so much different from the conventional – traditional chemical dyes.
There is no guarentees with this fabbie as to being colorfast. As with any of the dyes – they will a chance of bleeding into the floss or the floss bleeding onto them if you rinse after stitching.
Thanks again for buying and stitching on my fabbies Joan

Hand Dyed Fabbie Disclaimer: These colors are colorfast (they are heatsetted but color will still come out if it becomes wet)They are not lightfast(means they can fade in direct light). All steps have been taken to ensure the color for years to come - it's up to you how you handle the fabbie. Framing it using acid free matting - not rinsing after stitching(rinse if you like before stitching but additional fading may or will occur). Use a hot very low steam iron from the back of stitched design when finish. If using overdyed threads then use a hot DRY iron from the reverse side to prevent the colors bleeding from one into the other.
